RYAN SMITH, M.D. PSYCHIATRY

Dr. Ryan Smith is a compassionate board certified psychiatrist with fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry serving the communities in and around Corpus Christi, Texas, at South Texas Mental Health Associates. Dr. Smith assists his patients working with them to address mental health issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, and PTSD. He also specializes in psychopharmacology and offers comprehensive treatments for schizophrenia.

Dr. Smith was an infantryman in the Texas Army National Guard while completing his undergraduate in genetics with University Honors in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University in College Station. He then attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD and completed a residency in psychiatry at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He also has fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry from Walter Reed.
